The Grief Will Pass

When those desperate hours have come
The world seems at end.
Do not give up hope
For God is here to defend.

The comforter will see you through
Your grief in time shall pass.
Your days of fear will be left behind
For God has much left for you to do.

It seems hard to accept today
But be of good cheer.
For help from above is on the way
And a new life will soon appear.

It’s hard to leave someone behind
And move ahead on your own.
But God is ever so fine.
Because he has seen the way you have grown.

Good memories will be with us forever
Of the mate we knew so well.
God has touched your life to endeavor
With history of loved ones to pass on and tell.

The passing of time will end the grief
But never forget the meaning of love.
The Lord will bring us relief
Have strength in God above.
